Privacy Notice
How your tattoo enquiry, images and contact details are handled. Version 2026-10-12.
Who I am
I'm Kristina Vishar, a self-employed colour tattoo artist working in London. I decide how the information you send through this site is used. Contact me about anything on this page at bookings@kristinavishar.com.
What the booking form collects
When you send a tattoo enquiry, the form asks for:
- your name, preferred reply method, email address and, if you give one, your phone or WhatsApp number;
- your tattoo idea, style, body area and placement, approximate size, whether there is an existing tattoo there, and preferred timing;
- reference images, and photos of an existing tattoo for a cover-up, rework or extension;
- how you heard about me.
Your browser also sends the page you came from and technical details needed to deliver the request securely, such as your IP address, which my hosting provider uses to block abuse.
Why I use it
I use your enquiry to review the project, reply to you and, if we go ahead, arrange the design, appointment, deposit and aftercare. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before an agreement, and my legitimate interest in running my booking process. I don't sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
Photos of skin and existing tattoos are used only to assess and plan the tattoo.
Where it goes
The form sends your enquiry to a private booking system that I share with Vladimir Vishar's tattoo studio. Access is restricted to authorised users of that system: me, people who help me with bookings, and Vladimir Vishar, who owns and runs the system.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and the private service that receives the form.
- Supabase stores the enquiry and your images in a private database and file storage.
- Telegram delivers a notification about a new enquiry to me.
- Google (Gmail) and WhatsApp carry our conversation when I reply by email or WhatsApp.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards for international transfers.
Automated help
Before you send the form, an optional clarity check may look at the project description only: style, placement, size, existing-tattoo status, your idea and the number of images. It never sees your name, contact details or the images. It runs through OpenRouter with data retention and data collection switched off on every request, and it only suggests extra details you might add. It never blocks sending, and if you leave without sending, nothing is saved as an enquiry.
After you send an enquiry, Cloudflare Workers AI may summarise it, describe the reference images and translate it to help me review it quickly. The results stay in the private booking system. The assistant can't accept or decline a project, set a price, book a date or send you a message. I read and decide everything myself.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted on this site.
Analytics is optional. When it is switched on, a banner asks first. Google Analytics loads, and its cookies are set, only after you choose “Accept analytics”. If you reject, or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. The analytics counts page visits and that an enquiry was sent; it never receives your name, contact details, tattoo description or images. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page, which also removes the analytics cookies.
The booking form keeps your unfinished answers in your own browser so a reload doesn't lose them: project answers for up to 7 days, contact details only until you close the tab. Images are never stored this way. Sending the form clears them. You can also clear them with your browser's site data settings.
How long I keep it
If your enquiry doesn't turn into a booking, my rule is to keep it and its images for up to five years after our last contact, so I can recognise a returning client and answer questions about past conversations. The booking system doesn't delete old enquiries automatically yet, so they're removed by hand. If we work together, I keep the records needed for the tattoo, aftercare and my legal and tax obligations.
You can ask me to delete your enquiry and images at any time, and I'll do it without waiting for that period to end.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to how I use it or ask me to restrict it, and receive a copy of what you gave me. Email bookings@kristinavishar.com. If you're unhappy with how I handle a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
