Before your appointment
Tattoo FAQ
The practical information that used to compete for space on the one-page site now has its own URL. Booking, preparation, healing and design questions stay easy to find without making the homepage feel like a manual.
Design process — what should I send you?
If you have specific ideas, describe them in as much detail as possible and send as many references as you can, so I clearly understand what you want. I'll show you the design on the day of the appointment. If needed, we can make changes and adjustments in person. If there isn't enough information, I'll message you in advance on WhatsApp.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Every piece is unique, so pricing depends on size, detail, placement and number of sessions. After reviewing your idea, I'll provide a personalised quote. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
How long is a session?
A standard session is up to 7 hours.
- Full sleeve: usually 8–10 sessions
- Upper arm / shoulder: 2–3 sessions
- Forearm: 1–2 sessions
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Get a good night's sleep, eat a proper meal 1–2 hours before and drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol or recreational substances for at least 24 hours (48 is better), go easy on caffeine, and let Kristina know in advance about medication or medical conditions that may affect the appointment.
What should I wear and how should I prepare the skin?
Wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the area and will not rub the fresh tattoo afterwards. Gentle exfoliation and regular moisturising can help prepare the skin. Shave the area the day before if you can do it safely and neatly; otherwise leave it for the appointment. Avoid fake tan and harsh scrubs on the area for 2–3 days before.
Do you recommend numbing cream?
Kristina does not recommend numbing creams by default because skin reactions and the duration of the effect can be unpredictable. If you are considering one, discuss it before the appointment rather than applying an unfamiliar product without telling the artist.
What if I have allergies or a health concern?
Tell Kristina in advance about allergies to latex, tapes or adhesives, antiseptics, medications or similar products. If you feel unwell, have an active skin issue in the tattoo area, a condition that may affect bleeding or healing, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, contact Kristina before the appointment so you can confirm whether it should be rescheduled and seek medical advice where appropriate.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you can come with a friend or partner. Studio rules and available space can affect how long a guest can remain in the work area.
Do you take photos or videos?
Kristina may film parts of the process and take final photos of the tattoo, usually without your face. If you do not want any filming, let her know in advance.
How long does healing take?
On the surface, a tattoo usually looks healed after 10–14 days, but full recovery takes 4–6 weeks and sometimes longer. Avoid heavy friction while the skin is healing, and avoid sauna, swimming and sun exposure until the tattoo has recovered sufficiently. Follow the aftercare instructions given for your specific session.
How do I protect colour tattoos from fading?
UV exposure speeds up fading. Keep a fresh tattoo out of direct sun while it heals, then use appropriate sun protection after healing. Long-term colour retention also depends on the design, placement, skin and how the tattoo heals.
Are touch-ups included?
One free touch-up is included within 3 months of the original session, provided the aftercare instructions have been followed. Beyond that, touch-ups are charged at a reduced rate.
Still have a project question?
The booking form has space for the subject, placement, size and references, so Kristina can answer in the context of the actual tattoo.
