Watercolour Tattoo Artist in London
Kristina uses watercolour effects as part of a structured tattoo rather than as random splashes around a subject. Soft transitions, selective edges and negative space help the colour stay readable while keeping the piece light and painterly.
Soft colour, clear focus
The current selection includes both floral and illustrative subjects. As the portfolio grows, this page can expand without changing the site structure again.

Painterly does not mean unplanned
Watercolour tattoos still need hierarchy. Kristina keeps the important subject readable, then uses softer colour and texture around it where the composition benefits from less definition.
That balance is especially useful for flowers, leaves and organic subjects. A design can feel loose without turning every edge into the same blur.
What can be combined with watercolour?
- Floral and botanical subjects
- Animals and illustrative motifs
- Character-based colour work
- Small defined focal elements with broader colour movement
Watercolour + Floral
This is the combination the new site is designed to strengthen most. Flowers provide recognisable structure, while painterly colour can add movement without requiring heavy outlines everywhere.
Building a flower-led project?
The Floral page covers botanical composition, placement and the way several flowers can be organised into one tattoo.
Enough space for colour to work
A watercolour effect needs room for colour transitions and negative space. If a design is made too small, the distinction between soft areas and focal detail disappears.
Size
The subject determines the minimum useful size. Kristina may simplify a design or recommend a larger scale rather than compress detail.
Placement
Forearms, upper arms, thighs and shoulders offer useful shapes for colour movement, but the design is adjusted to the actual body area.
Longevity
Contrast and readable structure still matter. After healing, protecting colour tattoos from UV with SPF helps reduce fading.
